The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee is all set to declare the much-awaited OJEE Counselling 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result for postgraduate programmes today, July 8, at 5 PM. Thousands of aspirants who registered and locked their college-course preferences will finally learn which institute they have been allotted for admission in the 2026 session.
The Round 1 PG allotment covers admission to M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan, MBA, MCA, M.Sc. (Computer Science) and MBA (Working Professional) courses. Candidates who completed counselling registration and choice filling can view their allotment status by signing in with their application number and password on the official OJEE portal. The committee had earlier deferred the declaration owing to unavoidable circumstances, and the revised release time now stands at 5 PM.
Seats in this round have been assigned strictly on the basis of the candidate's inter-se merit, the preferences locked during choice filling, applicable reservation norms and the availability of seats in each participating institute. Separate counselling tracks are being run for candidates qualifying through OJEE and those qualifying via JEE Main scores, so aspirants should log in only to the counselling stream relevant to them.
Follow this quick step-by-step guide to download your OJEE 2026 Round 1 PG seat allotment letter the moment it goes live:
Open the official OJEE counselling website — ojee.nic.in.
Click on the PG counselling seat allotment / login link on the homepage.
Key in your application number and password.
Complete the captcha verification and hit login.
Your allotted college and course will be displayed on screen.
Download and save the seat allotment letter (PDF) for the reporting and admission formalities.
Direct link: The seat allotment login link will be activated on ojee.nic.in at 5 PM. Candidates unable to open the page due to heavy traffic should retry after a few minutes or use the alternate official domain odishajee.com.
The OJEE Committee had originally scheduled the PG Round 1 result for an earlier date but pushed it to July 8, 5 PM citing unavoidable circumstances. Aspirants are advised to rely only on the official portal and official notices for date and time confirmations, and to ignore unofficial links circulating on social media.
Getting a seat is only half the job — securing it requires completing online reporting within the deadline announced by the committee. Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must:
Accept the allotted seat online.
Pay the part admission fee through the portal's payment gateway.
Upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
Select the Freeze or Float option, whichever applies to their plan.
Download the confirmation slip after successful reporting.
Freeze vs Float — quick decode:
Freeze: You are fully satisfied and want to lock this seat — you exit further rounds. Choose this only if you are certain, as freezing is treated as final.
Float: You accept the current seat but stay in the pool for a possible upgrade in the next round; your allotted seat remains safe if no upgrade comes through.
Important: Missing the reporting deadline or skipping the fee payment leads to automatic cancellation of the allotted seat, which is then released for the next round. The counselling registration fee of ₹450 is non-refundable regardless of the allotment outcome.
Keep scanned copies of the following ready before you begin reporting to avoid last-minute rejection:
Odisha JEE 2026 admit card
OJEE 2026 scorecard / rank card
Qualifying examination certificates and mark sheets
Category / reservation certificate (if applicable)
Valid government photo ID (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport/Driving Licence)
Recent passport-size photographs
Counselling registration slip and fee payment receipt
The OJEE Committee conducts two rounds of counselling followed by one special round. After Round 1 reporting concludes, vacant and newly released seats move to Round 2. A special registration window for candidates qualifying through a second OJEE session is expected to open later in July, with the special/Round 3 allotment anticipated around the end of July 2026. Exact dates will be notified on ojee.nic.in — bookmark the portal for live updates.
