Rajasthan PTET Counselling 2026 has officially begun for candidates seeking admission to the 2-Year B.Ed. and 4-Year Integrated BA B.Ed./BSc B.Ed. programmes offered at participating teacher education colleges across the state. Eligible candidates — those who cleared the Pre-Teacher Education Test — can now complete online counselling registration on the official portal, ptetvmoukota2026.in. The last date to register and pay the counselling fee is July 15, 2026.
The counselling is conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota, which administered the PTET 2026 examination. The exam was held on June 14, 2026, and qualified candidates are now eligible to take part in the counselling and college allotment process. The process runs in multiple stages, and candidates must complete each step before its deadline to secure a seat.
Registration window live: Qualified candidates can register and pay the ₹5,000 fee until July 15, 2026.
First allotment on July 21: The opening seat allotment list drops July 21, kicking off admission and reporting.
Two fees to plan for: ₹5,000 at registration + ₹22,000 admission fee after a seat is allotted.
Scale of the process: About 1,07,575 of 1,26,600 registered candidates appeared in the PTET 2026 exam on June 14; admission will run across around 935 B.Ed. colleges.
Domicile matters: Rajasthan bona-fide residency is central to seat allotment; out-of-state candidates are treated under General category subject to a cap.
| Counselling stage | Dates (2026) |
| Registration & fee payment | July 4 – July 15 |
| College choice filling | July 6 – July 16 |
| First seat allotment result | July 21 |
| Admission fee payment & document upload | July 21 – July 27 |
| Reporting to allotted college | July 21 – July 29 |
To participate, candidates must first complete online registration by paying a counselling fee of ₹5,000. Payment can be made via UPI, net banking, debit card, credit card, or E-Mitra. After successful registration, aspirants fill and lock their preferred B.Ed. colleges between July 6 and July 16.
Choice filling should be done carefully: seat allotment depends on merit rank, category, the preferences submitted, and seat availability. Selecting a wider list of eligible colleges — and ordering them by genuine preference — improves the chance of an early allotment.

The first seat allotment list will be released on July 21, 2026. Candidates who are allotted a seat must complete admission formalities within the given window — paying an admission fee of ₹22,000 between July 21 and July 27, uploading the required documents, and reporting to the allotted college between July 21 and July 29 for document verification and final admission confirmation.
The allotted institute verifies every document before confirming admission, so candidates should keep their academic certificates, identity proof, and category certificates (where applicable) ready to avoid delays. If a candidate does not receive a seat, a partial refund of the counselling fee is processed online after the counselling concludes, as per official rules.
