Rajasthan PTET Counselling 2026 registration closes today, July 16, 2026. Candidates who cleared the Pre-Teacher Education Test and have not yet completed the process must finish it on the official portal, ptetvmoukota2026.in, before the window shuts. Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota is running the counselling for admission to the two-year B.Ed. programme and the four-year integrated B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. courses across Rajasthan.
The Rajasthan PTET Seat Allotment Result will be published on July 21, 2026. Candidates who are allotted a seat must deposit the seat acceptance fee between July 21 and July 27, 2026. Miss that window and the allotted seat lapses — it is released back into the pool for subsequent rounds.
After allotment, candidates report directly to their allotted teacher education institution. The college verifies the required documents and completes admission confirmation online through the authorised portal between July 21 and July 29, 2026.
Qualifying PTET only fixes your rank. It does not fix your college. Every seat in Rajasthan — government or private — is filled exclusively through this centralised counselling system. No institution can offer a direct admission outside it. A candidate who skips registration today does not simply lose a round; they exit the merit process for this phase entirely, regardless of how high they scored on June 14.

The fee structure, plainly
The counselling registration fee is ₹5,000. This is not a sunk cost — it is adjusted into your final admission fee once you take admission in the allotted college. Payment can be completed through UPI, net banking, debit card, credit card, or e-Mitra. Candidates who are allotted a seat pay the ₹22,000 admission fee in the July 21–27 window.
One detail that trips up hundreds of candidates every year: a submitted form with a failed or pending transaction is not a completed registration. Check your payment status on the portal before you close the browser. Keep the transaction ID.
Allotment on July 21 is decided by four variables working together — your merit rank, your category, the college preferences you locked, and seat availability in those colleges. Two candidates with identical ranks routinely land in very different institutions purely because one filled a long, realistic preference list and the other filled a short, optimistic one.
Originals plus self-attested photocopies of: PTET 2026 admit card and scorecard, Class 10 marksheet and certificate, Class 12 marksheet and certificate, graduation marksheets and degree (for the two-year B.Ed.), domicile certificate, category certificate where applicable, Aadhaar or other photo ID, passport-size photographs, and the counselling fee receipt.
Colleges verify these strictly at reporting. A name mismatch across certificates or a lapsed category certificate is enough to stall a confirmed allotment. Fix discrepancies now, not on July 22.
For the two-year B.Ed., candidates need a graduation or post-graduation degree with a minimum of 50 per cent marks, relaxed to 45 per cent for reserved categories as per Rajasthan government norms. For the four-year integrated B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed., Class 12 with 50 per cent marks is the threshold, again relaxed to 45 per cent for reserved categories. Candidates from outside Rajasthan are treated under the General category only.
The Rajasthan PTET 2026 entrance exam was conducted on June 14, 2026 in offline pen-and-paper mode — 200 objective questions across Mental Ability, Teaching Attitude and Aptitude, General Awareness, and Language Proficiency, carrying three marks each for a total of 600, with no negative marking. The final answer key followed on June 24, and results were declared shortly after. Counselling registration opened in the first week of July.
Complete registration today if you have not. Then stop refreshing and start preparing: assemble your document file, verify your certificate details against each other, and keep ₹22,000 accessible for the July 21–27 window.
