 RBI Office Attendant Eligibility Criteria

Before you apply for RBI Office Attendant positions, ensure you meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
    Note: Graduates and candidates with higher qualifications are generally not eligible for this specific entry-level role.

  • Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 and 25 years old (as of Jan 1, 2026). Age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories as per government norms.

  • Regional Language Proficiency: You must be proficient (read, write, and speak) in the local language of the state or region for which you are applying.

RBI Exam Pattern and Selection Process

The RBI Office Attendant selection process is designed to test basic aptitude and linguistic skills. It consists of two main stages:

1. Online Competitive Test

The online exam features 120 objective-type questions for a total of 120 marks. The duration is 90 minutes.

  • Reasoning: 30 Marks

  • Numerical Ability: 30 Marks

  • General Awareness: 30 Marks

  • English Language: 30 Marks

  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

2. Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Candidates who clear the online test will be called for the LPT. This test is qualifying in nature but mandatory. It ensures you can communicate effectively in the local language of your posted region.
