The Rajasthan Board has strictly implemented a no-detention policy modification, meaning students must now secure minimum marks to be promoted.
Students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each individual subject as well as in the aggregate to clear the exams.
RBSE uses grades instead of marks on the final scorecard. Below is the breakdown of the 2026 grading system:
| Marks Range | Grade | Remarks |
| 91 – 100 | A1 | Exceptional |
| 76 – 90 | A2 | Excellent |
| 61 – 75 | B | Very Good |
| 41 – 60 | C | Good |
| 33 – 40 | D | Pass |
| 21 – 32 | E1 | Supplementary |
| 00 – 20 | E2 | Fail |
Important Note: Any student receiving an 'E1' or 'E2' grade will have to appear for the supplementary examinations, the dates for which will be announced shortly after today's result declaration.
