The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are expected to release the RRB Group D City Intimation Slip 2026 shortly for candidates appearing in the Level-1 (Group D) recruitment examination under CEN No. 09/2025. With the Computer Based Test (CBT) set to begin on August 3, 2026, the city intimation slip — which reveals a candidate's allotted exam city, date, and shift ahead of the admit card — is expected to go live on the official RRB portals in the coming days, following the board's usual practice of releasing it around 10 days before the exam.
This recruitment cycle covers 22,195 Group D (Level 1) vacancies across various railway zones, making it one of the largest government recruitment exams of the year. The CBT will be conducted in multiple shifts across roughly 200 exam centres nationwide, from August 3 to August 21, 2026.
The city intimation slip is not the admit card — it only informs candidates of their allotted exam city, date, and shift so they can plan travel and accommodation in advance. The actual e-admit card, containing the exact exam centre address and reporting time, is released separately a few days closer to the exam date. Carrying only the city slip will not permit entry to the exam centre; candidates must download and carry the official admit card when it becomes available.
Visit the official website of your respective regional RRB (or rrb.digialm.com, the common portal used for RRB city slips).
Look for the link titled "RRB Group D CEN 09/2025 City Intimation Slip 2026."
Log in using your registration number/enrollment number and date of birth or password.
Your allotted exam city, date, and shift will be displayed on screen.
Download and save the slip, and take a printout for reference while planning travel.
Continue checking the same portal for your admit card, which will be released closer to your exam date.
CBT (CEN 09/2025) exam dates: August 3 to August 21, 2026
Total vacancies: 22,195 (Level 1 posts, 7th CPC pay level 1)
Number of exam shifts: Three per day (morning, afternoon, evening — exact timings to be confirmed on the admit card)
Exam centres: Around 200 centres across India
City intimation slip release: Expected approximately 10 days before each candidate's exam date
The city intimation slip is city-specific, not centre-specific — the exact centre address comes only with the admit card.
Since the exam spans multiple dates (August 3–21), city slips may roll out in batches depending on a candidate's allotted shift/date.
No slips are issued offline; all downloads happen only through the official RRB login.
Keep your registration number, date of birth, and password/security details handy to avoid last-minute login issues.
