How to Fill SSC CGL Application Form 2026 Online

The Staff Selection Commission requires all applicants to complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on its new portal before filling out the main examination form. Follow this detailed, error-free guide to submit your application:

Step 1: One-Time Registration (OTR)

  1. Go to the official website: ssc.gov.in.

  2. On the homepage, look for the Login or Register section and click on Register Now.

  3. Fill in your basic details, including your Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, and Class 10 board exam details exactly as they appear on your matriculation certificate.

  4. Complete your Aadhaar-based authentication or provide alternative government ID details.

  5. Provide a valid mobile number and email ID, and verify them using the OTPs sent to you.

  6. Set a secure password to generate your unique OTR Registration Number.

Step 2: Filling the Main Examination Form

  1. Log in to your candidate dashboard using your Registration Number and Password.

  2. Under the "Latest Notifications" section, navigate to the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2026 tab and click on Apply.

  3. Your basic details from the OTR profile will pre-populate. Review them carefully.

  4. Select your preferred Examination Centres (up to 3 preferences within the same region).

  5. Specify your highest educational qualification and choose your medium for the Computer-Based Examination.

  • SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: Exempted (INR 0)
