
The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL Result 2025 for Tier 1 shortly on its official portal ssc.gov.in (also accessed as ssc gov in or ssc. gov. in). The result will be issued in a PDF format, carrying the names, roll numbers, marks and categories of candidates who qualify for the next stage of the SSC CGL recruitment process.
The official download link for the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025 PDF will be activated here immediately upon release.
The Commission will publish the SSC CGL Tier 1 result 2025 along with the official cut-off. Candidates who clear Tier 1 will be eligible to appear for the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam. The SSC CGL admit card 2025 for Tier 2 will be uploaded a few days before the exam on ssc.gov.in. Earlier, SSC released the city intimation slip on September 3, 2025.

Visit the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in
Open the “Result” tab located in the top navigation menu.
Click on the relevant section ('Others' or 'CGL').
Click the link titled “Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-1) 2025 – Declaration of Result.”
Open the PDF and search for your name or roll number to confirm qualification.
Download and save the result PDF for future reference.
The official Merit List PDF will contain the following crucial details for shortlisted candidates:
Roll numbers of qualified candidates
Names of shortlisted candidates
Category-wise cut-off marks (UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS)
Total number of qualified candidates
The marking scheme used for result calculation
For the SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 exam, held from September 12 to 26, candidates will receive +2 marks for correctly answered questions. A deduction of -0.05 marks will apply for incorrect responses (negative marking). Unanswered questions carry no marks.
More than 13.5 lakh candidates appeared for the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2025, conducted across 45 shifts, 255 centres, and 126 cities. Those who clear all stages of the SSC CGL selection process will be considered for Group B and Group C posts across various central government ministries and departments.
