
The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) has officially announced the TGCET 2026 Results today, March 24. Thousands of students who appeared for the common entrance test for admission into Classes 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 can now access their qualifying status and rank cards online.
The examination is the gateway to prestigious residential schools across Telangana, including TSWREIS, TGTWREIS (Tribal Welfare), and MJPTBCWREIS (BC Welfare) institutions.
To avoid heavy traffic on the official server, candidates are advised to follow these verified steps to download their TGCET 2026 Scorecard:
Navigate to the official Telangana Gurukul portal: tgcet.cgg.gov.in.
On the homepage, locate the flashing link titled "TGCET-2026 Result Click Here".
Enter your Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth (as per the application).
Click on the 'Submit' button.
Your TGCET 2026 Rank Card will be displayed on the screen.
Download the PDF and take a printout for the upcoming counseling process.

Subject-wise Marks (Telugu, English, Maths, EVS, Mental Ability)

The TGCET 2026 Merit List is prepared based on the marks secured in the 100-mark objective paper. As per the latest government norms (GO MS No. 5), 50% of seats are reserved for local candidates within their respective constituencies.
Certificate Verification: Shortlisted candidates must present original TCs, Study Certificates, and Caste/Income certificates.
Counseling: Online web options for school preference will begin shortly.
Seat Allotment: Based on rank, reservation, and school vacancy, the final allotment list will be released in April 2026.
