The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu, has activated the direct score retrieval portals for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Class 10 Supplementary Examinations. Thousands of students across the state who sat for the compartmental and improvement tests can now inspect their updated qualification status and subject-wise score distribution online.
The supplementary examinations serve as a crucial second opportunity for students seeking to clear backlogs from the main annual board exams held earlier this spring. Clearing these examinations ensures candidates maintain eligibility for Class 11 admissions for the 2026–2027 academic session without losing a year.
Candidates can seamlessly check and download their provisional marks memo by following this streamlined process:
Visit the Official Result Website: Go to either tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in.
Locate Result Link: Click on the active link titled "TN SSLC Supplementary Examination Result July 2026" on the portal homepage.
Provide Login Credentials: Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth (in DD/MM/YYYY format).
Submit & Retrieve: Click on the 'Get Marks' button to view your provisional scorecard.
Download & Save: Review the subject-wise breakdown and download a digital copy or take a clear printout for interim academic submissions.
During peak traffic hours, official portals may experience temporary latency. Students can use any of the following verified DGE server mirrors to access their scores:
tnresults.nic.in
dge.tn.gov.in
dge.tn.gov.in/results.html
apply1.tndge.org
dge1.tn.nic.in
dge2.tn.nic.in
For candidates seeking further verification of their answer sheets, the DGE has instituted a formal process to obtain scanned copies of evaluated answer scripts.
Application Window: Open exclusively on August 10, 2026 and August 11, 2026, between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Application Fee: ₹275 per subject.
Application Procedure:
Download the official "JULY-2026 SCAN COPY APPLICATION" form directly from the DGE portal (dge.tn.gov.in).
Complete the form accurately with subject details and roll credentials.
Submit the completed application form in person at the Office of the Assistant Director of Government Examinations in your respective district within the designated hours.
Important Note: Applications submitted after 5:00 PM on August 11, 2026, or submitted online without physical verification at district offices will not be processed.
The marks memo downloaded today serves purely as a provisional document to facilitate immediate Class 11 stream selection and school admissions.
Original Marksheet Issuance: The DGE will dispatch official, physical marksheets to respective schools across Tamil Nadu shortly. Students are advised to contact their school administration to collect their hard copies once notified.
Stream Allotment: Students clearing all required subjects can now formalize their Class 11 enrollment across State Board, CBSE, or polytechnic diploma streams.
