
The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has officially published the preliminary answer key for the Sub-Inspector (SI) Recruitment 2025. Following the written examination conducted on December 21, 2025, the board released the response keys on December 26, 2025, to allow candidates to verify their performance.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 1,299 vacancies for the roles of Sub-Inspector (Taluk) and Sub-Inspector (Armed Reserve).

Click on the link for "Preliminary Answer Key for Written Exam".
The PDF containing the correct answers for all sets will open on your screen.
Download and save the file to cross-reference with your response sheet.
Candidates can estimate their marks using the official marking scheme. Notably, there is no negative marking for the written examination.

Total Marks: 100
Nature: Qualifying only (Minimum 40 marks required).
Weightage: Marks are not added to the final merit list.
The scoring for the main paper depends on whether the candidate is under the Open or Departmental quota:

If a candidate finds a discrepancy in the preliminary answer key, they can submit a representation to the board. Objections must be submitted in person or via post; online submissions are not accepted for this stage.

After the objection window closes, the board will verify all challenges and release a Final Answer Key. The results will be based on this final version. Candidates who meet the cut-off will proceed to the following stages:
