Candidates awaiting the UGC NET June 2026 re-exam have an update. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the UGC NET re-exam admit card 2026 shortly on its official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, ahead of the re-examination scheduled for September 9 and 10, 2026. The advance city intimation slip has already been released, and going by NTA's usual pattern, the admit card is expected to follow a few days before the exam.
The re-examination is being held only for three subjects — English, Commerce and Sociology — which NTA has decided to re-conduct based on the findings of an enquiry committee, as per its notice issued on August 16, 2026. Candidates who appeared in the other 84 subjects do not need to appear again, as their results have already been declared. Here's the detailed subject-wise re-exam schedule, how to download the admit card, and the documents to carry.
