Lakhs of students across Uttar Pradesh who were not satisfied with their board exam scores now have their answer. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released the UP Board scrutiny result 2026 for Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate) on July 6, 2026, region-wise, for Prayagraj, Meerut, Bareilly, Varanasi and Gorakhpur.

Candidates who applied for rechecking/scrutiny of their answer scripts after the main result can now check their updated UP Board 10th rechecking result 2026 and UP Board 12th rechecking result 2026 on the official website, upmsp.edu.in. Students can access and download the region-wise scrutiny result PDF, which contains the roll numbers of candidates whose marks have been revised.

Follow these simple steps to check your UP Board 10th / 12th scrutiny result 2026:

1. Visit the official UPMSP website at upmsp.edu.in.

2. On the homepage, go to the "Important Information & Download" section.

3. Click on the High School Scrutiny Result or Intermediate Scrutiny Result link for your region (Prayagraj, Meerut, Bareilly, Varanasi or Gorakhpur).

4. The region-wise scrutiny result PDF will open on your screen.

5. Press Ctrl + F and type your roll number to quickly find your revised marks.

6. Download and save a copy of the PDF for future reference.

Important: Only roll numbers of students whose marks have changed are printed in the PDF. If a roll number does not appear, there is no change in that student's marks.

What Is Scrutiny in UP Board? (Rechecking vs Revaluation)

Scrutiny is a re-checking process. It confirms that every answer was marked, that marks were carried forward correctly, and that totals were added up correctly. It is not a full re-evaluation of the answer script.

In simple terms, UP Board scrutiny does not re-assess the quality of your answers — it verifies the marking and totalling. As a result, your marks may increase, stay the same, or even decrease, and once the scrutiny result is declared, it is final.

Students who were not satisfied with their board marks had to apply to get their answer sheets verified. If there is any change after scrutiny, the board updates the student's result and issues a revised marksheet accordingly.

What To Do After UP Board Rechecking Result 2026

• If your marks changed: Collect your updated marksheet from your school once it is issued.

• If your roll number is not in the PDF: Your original marks stand; no revised marksheet will be issued.

• If you still could not clear a subject: Students who fail in 1 or 2 subjects are eligible for the Compartment Examination, expected to be held in July 2026, with results likely in August 2026.
