The wait is finally over for lakhs of Industrial Training Institute (ITI) trainees across Uttar Pradesh and the rest of India. The Directorate General of Training (DGT) has declared the online CBT result of the ITI 1st and 2nd year course examination 2026 on the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) portal. Students who appeared for the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) All India Trade Test (AITT) can now check their marks and download their scorecards online.
The computer-based test (CBT) examinations were conducted from July 9 to August 3, 2026, across notified examination centres nationwide. According to the revised DGT schedule, practical examinations for the CTS AITT 2026 cycle were held from July 6 to July 10, 2026, followed by the CBT round. With evaluation now complete, the results are live for download.
Follow these simple steps to download your ITI Result 2026 scorecard:
Visit the official Skill India Digital Hub portal at skillindiadigital.gov.in.
Look for the "Directorate General of Training ITI Result 2026" link on the homepage.
Click on the CTS AITT Mains Examination 2026 Result link — you'll be redirected to the result download page.
Enter your PRN (Permanent Registration Number) and Date of Birth correctly in the specified fields.
Click the Submit button.
Your result — including marks, trade, and training year — will appear on screen.
Download the scorecard as a PDF and keep a printed copy for future use.
The result covers trainees enrolled across various ITI trades and durations — including one-year, six-month, and two-year (first-year and second-year) CTS courses. Candidates should carefully verify:
Name and roll number
PRN number
Trade and training year
Theory and practical marks
Overall result status (pass/fail)
Any discrepancy in the scorecard should be flagged immediately through the official grievance window, since the result grievance window is scheduled to open on August 17 as per the current DGT schedule. This scorecard becomes an essential document for further admission, apprenticeship applications, or employment processes, so trainees are advised to save both a digital and printed copy.
The UP ITI admission 2026 process runs independently of this examination result. Admission to ITI courses in Uttar Pradesh is based on candidates' Class 10 marks, with no separate entrance examination required. Applicants who registered during the admission window should now watch for merit list and seat allotment updates on the SCVTUP portal, which will also handle counselling schedules and document verification.
Besides the Skill India Digital Hub, students can also cross-check their results via the NCVT MIS official website using their Roll Number/PRN Number and Date of Birth. Keeping both portals bookmarked is a good idea in case of heavy server traffic on result day.
ITI training under the Craftsmen Training Scheme equips students with practical, job-ready skills for employment and apprenticeship opportunities across manufacturing, technical, and vocational sectors. The DGT, under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, oversees these vocational training programmes nationally, while individual ITIs are administered by respective state governments and Union Territories — in this case, the UP government through SCVTUP.
