Because of extremely heavy traffic in the first few hours after a result of this scale goes live, the server may respond slowly. Candidates are advised to retry after a short interval rather than refreshing repeatedly, and to keep their registration number and date of birth handy before opening the link.
Recruiting body is the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB). The post is Constable (Civil Police), with 32,679 total vacancies. The written exam was held on June 8, 9 and 10, 2026. The result has been declared in PDF format, along with an individual scorecard login, on uppbpb.gov.in. The next stages are Document Verification, Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test.
Step 1: Open the official UPPRPB website, uppbpb.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, go to the Result or Notice section.
Step 3: Click on the link that reads UP Police Bharti Result 2026 or UP Police Constable Result 2026.
Step 4: Enter the required login credentials, that is registration number and date of birth.
Step 5: Submit the details. The result will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Download the result and save a printout for use during Document Verification.
Candidates should cross-check the spelling of their name, roll number, category and father's name on the downloaded result. Any discrepancy should be reported to the board immediately, since the same details will be verified at the DV stage.
Clearing the written examination is only the first hurdle. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification, followed by the Physical Standard Test and the Physical Efficiency Test. The board will announce the detailed schedule, city and venue for these stages separately through its official website and through admit cards issued closer to the date.
The final selection will be based on the merit of the written examination, subject to the candidate qualifying in DV, PST and PET. The physical rounds are qualifying in nature, which means marks scored there are not added to the final merit, but failing them removes a candidate from the selection process entirely.
For male candidates in the General, OBC and SC categories, the minimum height requirement is 168 cm, with a chest measurement of 79 cm unexpanded and 84 cm expanded. The minimum chest expansion required is 5 cm.
For female candidates in the General, OBC and SC categories, the minimum height is 152 cm, while ST category female candidates require 147 cm. Female candidates must have a minimum weight of 40 kg.
Candidates who do not meet the minimum chest expansion of 5 cm are treated as failing the PST even if the unexpanded measurement is adequate, so this is a common point of rejection that aspirants should prepare for.
The Physical Efficiency Test is qualifying in nature. Male candidates must complete a 4.8 km run in 25 minutes, while female candidates must complete a 2.4 km run in 14 minutes.
Candidates should begin structured running practice immediately after checking their result, since the gap between the result announcement and the physical rounds is usually short. Training on a track surface, practising with proper footwear, and building endurance gradually are advisable rather than attempting the full distance at maximum effort from day one.
Candidates who have qualified should keep the following ready in original along with self-attested photocopies: Class 10 marksheet and certificate for date of birth proof, Class 12 marksheet and certificate, domicile or residence certificate of Uttar Pradesh, caste certificate where applicable in the prescribed format, EWS certificate where applicable and valid for the relevant financial year, photo identity proof such as Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID or driving licence, recent passport-size photographs matching the one uploaded in the application, printout of the online application form and admit card, character certificate, and any horizontal reservation documents such as sports, ex-servicemen or dependent category certificates.
Incomplete or mismatched documentation is one of the most common reasons candidates lose a confirmed seat at this stage, so verification of certificate formats and validity dates well in advance is strongly recommended.
The merit list released along with the result reflects category-wise qualifying marks. Cut-off marks in the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2026 depend on the number of vacancies, the number of candidates who appeared, the difficulty level of the paper across the three exam days, and the normalisation applied across shifts. Candidates should refer only to the official cut-off published in the board's PDF and avoid relying on unofficial figures circulating on social media and messaging apps.
Save a soft copy and a hard copy of the result immediately, as result links are sometimes taken down or moved after the initial window. Keep the registration number safe, since it will be required at every subsequent stage. Follow only uppbpb.gov.in and the board's verified communication channels for schedule updates on DV, PST and PET, and be cautious of fraudulent messages or calls promising selection in exchange for money. The board conducts the entire process free of any such payment.
