The Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department has reportedly completed preparations for the disbursement, and the amount will be transferred directly to students’ bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
Students who submitted their scholarship applications on time and whose forms have been verified by the District Scholarship Committee will be eligible to receive the upcoming payment. Both Pre-Matric (Class 9–10) and Post-Matric (Class 11–12 and higher education) students will benefit under the UP Scholarship Scheme 2026.

Once the process begins, the funds will be sent directly to the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries.
