New for 2026: AI Face Authentication for Civil Services Recruitment

A major highlight of the UPSC 2026 notification is the implementation of enhanced security measures.

  • AI Face Authentication: To maintain the "purity" of the civil services recruitment process, all candidates will undergo a "face test" via Artificial Intelligence at the exam centers.

  • Verification: This AI-based system will match the live candidate with the photo submitted during the UPSC application process to eliminate impersonation.
