
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially extended the registration deadline for WBJEE 2026. In response to numerous requests from students and stakeholders across the state,the last date to apply for the state-level engineering entrance exam is now April 8, 2026.
Aspiring candidates for Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture programs can complete their registration on the official WBJEEB portal.
With the extension of the application window, the Board has also adjusted the subsequent timelines for the correction window and admit card release.

Crucial Note: Despite the extension for registration, the WBJEE 2026 exam date remains unchanged. The test will be conducted in OMR-based offline mode on May 24, 2026.

General (Female) & Reserved Male (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/TFW): ₹400

Complete the detailed application form and upload scanned images of your photograph and signature.

Download and print the Confirmation Page; this is vital for the counseling process.
The examination consists of two mandatory papers. To be eligible for a General Merit Rank (GMR), candidates must appear for both papers on the exam day.
Paper I (Mathematics): 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (100 Marks)
Paper II (Physics & Chemistry): 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (100 Marks)
The test includes 155 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) across three categories. Candidates should be aware that negative marking applies to Categories 1 and 2.
