The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has declared the WBJEE Counselling 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result on its official counselling portal, wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates who registered and locked their choices for the first round can now log in with their application number, password, and security pin to check their allotted institute, course, and category status.
This result marks a critical step in West Bengal's centralised engineering, pharmacy, and architecture admission process for the 2026–27 academic session. Students who secure a seat in this round must act within a tight window to avoid losing their allotment.

Candidates allotted a seat have three options: accept and freeze, accept and upgrade (stay in the running for a better seat in later rounds), or reject. Those choosing to accept must pay the seat acceptance fee within the July 7–11 window and complete document verification at their allotted institute or online, as instructed by WBJEEB. Missing this deadline typically cancels the allotment and can block participation in subsequent rounds — so candidates should not delay.
Documents generally required at reporting include the WBJEE rank card, admit card, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, category/domicile certificates (if applicable), and identity proof.
Candidates who don't receive a seat, or aren't satisfied with their Round 1 allotment, remain eligible for Round 2 and Round 3, where fresh registrations are also accepted.
