The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) is the state's constitutional recruiting authority, tasked with conducting competitive examinations and shortlisting candidates for civil and administrative posts under the Government of West Bengal. Under the current cycle, aspirants who successfully submitted their forms will now face the first hurdle — the Preliminary (objective) examination. The WBPSC Miscellaneous Exam Date 2026 for this stage is due to be published on the commission's portal, psc.wb.gov.in, and will be mirrored on this page the moment it goes live.
Recruitment is carried out on the basis of a three-tier funnel: a Preliminary Test (objective), a Final/Mains Examination (conventional written), and a Personality Test (interview).
