CENTAC Issues Guidelines on Common Entrance Test (CET) for BSc Nursing Admission 2024-25

BSc Nursing Admission: For those aspiring to pursue BSc Nursing in the academic year 2024-25, it's crucial to understand the new admission process set forth by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). Beginning this academic year, admission to BSc Nursing programs will be facilitated through a Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by State Government Common Entrance Cells or Universities.

• Examination Process: The entire entrance examination process will be conducted by the Board of Examination of Nurses, Puducherry. They will ensure that all procedures align with the guidelines provided by the Indian Nursing Council, ensuring a standardised and fair examination process.
• Guidelines: The authorities will communicate additional guidelines regarding the admission process, scheme of examination, and other crucial details separately. This ensures transparency and clarity for both the candidates and the institutions involved in the admission process.
• Examination Schedule: The schedule for the Common Entrance Examination will be announced in coordination with the Election Commission of India (ECI), taking into account the applicability of the Model Code of Conduct. This ensures that the examination schedule does not clash with any electoral processes, thus avoiding any disruptions to the examination process.
