JENPAS UG Counselling , Round-wise Seat Allotment Results, Schedule, and Process

1. Online Registration: Candidates must register online for counselling through the provided registration link on the website. Log in with your roll number, password, and security pin.
2. Payment of Registration Fee : A registration fee of INR 500/- must be paid online using debit/credit cards or net banking.
3. Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates select courses and colleges online, with the option to choose multiple preferences. Prioritize choices and lock them after finalizing. Locked selections cannot be altered.
4. Counselling Rounds: Candidates are called for counselling rounds based on merit. Round 1 prioritizes candidates by merit. Those who didn't secure seats or want upgrades compete in round 2. Round 3 allocates seats to candidates who missed previous rounds or had their seats cancelled.
5. Seat Allotment: Seat allocation is viewable online. Candidates are temporarily assigned seats based on their preferences. If eligibility issues arise, allotments may be cancelled. Round-2 seat allotment results were released on September 12, 2023, on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. Accepted candidates made fee payments from September 12 to September 15, 2023, to confirm their allotted seats.

• JENPAS UG Rank card
• Class 10th admit card/birth certificate
• Class 12th mark sheet
• An Undertaking from the candidate (as per Performa)
• Unique Allotment ID (from candidate’s login)
• Mobile phone with the registered mobile number for receiving OTP
• W.B Domicile certificate
• SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B certificates by the competent authority (if applicable)
• EWS certificate (if applicable)
• PWD certificate (if applicable)

• The seat acceptance fee, paid by candidates who finalize their admission, will be transferred to the respective institute upon the conclusion of all e-counseling rounds. Should a candidate opt out of the institute, they must apply directly to that institute for admission cancellation and potential refund.
• If a candidate, having paid the seat acceptance fee and currently holding a seat, chooses to withdraw in any round (except the first and last rounds) within the seat acceptance period, the entire amount will be refunded via online banking within 60 to 90 days following the conclusion of all e-counseling rounds.
• In cases where a candidate fails to complete the admission process despite paying the seat acceptance fee and also opts not to withdraw, a portion of the fee may be refundable according to existing regulations, pending approval from the Board.
