  • SC/ST/OBC: 35%

  • PwBD: As applicable to the candidate's caste category

  • Candidates according to their respective categories

  • Candidates up to three times the number of advertised posts

  • Candidates involved in a tie at the relevant cut-off

  • Reserved-category candidates scoring above the UR cut-off, as per the prescribed rules

For 243 Nursing Officer posts, shortlisting will be carried out according to the recruitment rules.

Important: Meeting the minimum qualifying marks does not guarantee final selection.

Application and Document Scrutiny

After shortlisting, PGIMER scrutinises the applications and documents uploaded by candidates.

The Institute checks whether the information provided in your application meets the recruitment requirements.

Details Checked During Scrutiny

The scrutiny may include:

  • Educational qualification

  • Age

  • Nursing registration

  • Required experience, wherever applicable

Your eligibility will be decided using the information and documents submitted with the online application. Missing required documents or relevant information may lead to cancellation of candidature.

The experience certificate should:

  • Be issued by the competent authority

  • Clearly mention the period of employment

  • State the nature of duties

  • Include the required pay-related details

PGIMER will publish recruitment updates on its website, including:

  • CBT notice

  • Remarriage

  • Divorce

  • Other permitted circumstances

PGIMER has specified the supporting documents required for such cases in the recruitment notice.

  • Other applicable eligibility conditions

  • Successful document verification

  • CBT merit

Candidates whose eligibility and documents are found to be in order are finally selected based on their CBT marks.

PGIMER Nursing Officer Tie-Breaking Criteria

A tie may occur when two or more candidates obtain the same aggregate marks.

PGIMER has prescribed the following criteria for resolving a tie:

  1. The candidate with fewer wrong answers or fewer negative marks in the CBT gets preference.

  2. If the tie continues, the candidate born earlier gets preference.

  3. If the tie still remains, the candidate with a higher aggregate percentage in 10+2 gets preference.

Since the CBT has negative marking, you should answer questions carefully.
