A tie may occur when two or more candidates obtain the same aggregate marks.
PGIMER has prescribed the following criteria for resolving a tie:
The candidate with fewer wrong answers or fewer negative marks in the CBT gets preference.
If the tie continues, the candidate born earlier gets preference.
If the tie still remains, the candidate with a higher aggregate percentage in 10+2 gets preference.
Since the CBT has negative marking, you should answer questions carefully.
The merit position is based on CBT marks. The provisionally selected and waitlisted candidates are prepared according to CBT merit after the required scrutiny. PGIMER will publish the relevant results and recruitment notices on its website.
