CREST Mathematics Olympiad Eligibility Criteria

Understanding the CREST Olympiad eligibility criteria is important. It ensures students meet the requirements for participation. There is no minimum percentage requirement for participation, which allows students of all academic levels to take part and improve their mathematical skills. Participation is typically done through schools or individual registration, depending on availability.

Level 1 Eligibility

Any student from Grades KG to 10 can take part in Level 1. This includes students from all Indian education boards like CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards. Students living outside India can also participate.

Level 2 Eligibility

To qualify for Level 2, students must meet specific marks in the Level 1 exam. Only those who pass the minimum score in Level 1 can appear for Level 2.

CREST Mathematics Olympiad Registration Process

The CREST Math Olympiad registration is simple. Students can register in two ways. through schools or individual online registration. Students enter basic details, select class and exam, and complete payment. After verification, login credentials are provided via email/SMS, ensuring smooth participation in Level 1 and further selection rounds.

Schools registered with CREST Olympiads receive registration forms. These forms need to be filled out and sent back by the due date.

Students can register individually if their school does not participate. 

CREST Maths Olympiad – Individual Registration Process

  • Visit the Registration Link

  • Select Student (Individual) Registration option

  • Enter basic details such as:

    • Student’s full name

    • Class (KG to Class 10)

    • Date of birth

    • Gender

    • Email ID and mobile number

  • Create a login account using a username and a password

  • Verify account using OTP sent to email/mobile

  • Log in to the dashboard after verification

  • Select the CREST Mathematics Olympiad (CMO) from the list of exams

  • Choose your class level correctly

  • Select Level 1 exam registration

  • Fill in school details (if asked; optional in some cases for individual applicants)

  • Upload a passport-size photograph if required

  • Proceed to payment of registration fee via:

    • UPI

    • Debit/Credit Card

    • Net Banking

  • Submit the form after successful payment

  • Receive confirmation email/SMS with:

    • Registration ID

    • Login credentials

    • Exam instructions

  • Use these credentials to appear for the online Olympiad exam on the scheduled date
