ISTSE Syllabus 2024-25

ISTSE Syllabus 2024-25: Educational Excellentia conducts the Indian School Talent Search Exam (Scholarship Olympiad) assesses students' overall intellectual potential in various subjects including Mental Ability, Mathematics, Science and English.

Candidates who are going to appear for the ISTSE Online Examination 2024 to be held for Classes 1 to 3 is going to be organized on 24 th November 2024, for Class 4 to 6 online test will be held on 23rd November 2024 and for the students of Classes 7 to 10 is 17th November 2024. The Students before appearing for the ISTSE Test 2025 must have an accurate and detailed overview of the ISTSE Syllabus 2024-25 & Exam Pattern.

ISTSE Syllabus 2024-25

The ISTSE Exam is conducted in both Online and Offline mode. Students can go for the ISTSE Examination in two ways ISTSE Online Scholarship Olympiad - Winter 2024 which is Open for Direct Participation and the ISTSE Paper-based Scholar Olympiad - 2024-25 (Only through School) where the Examination is conducted Offline mode by the School. ISTSE Exam Pattern 2024-25

In the ISTSE Exam There we will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying total marks 100. There will be negative marking for each incorrect responses.
  • Single Paper Exam: The ISTSE Examination covers four subjects (Mental and Logical Ability, Maths, Science and English)
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions, ISTSE Online Examination teste your conceptual understanding.
  • Mode of Examination: Both Online or Paper-Based, Choose the format that suits you (availability depends on participation method).
  • Video Interview: A 30-minute video interview worth 100 points will be held for the top 10 scorers to determine the top 10 ranks.

ISTSE Recognition and Medals

Recognition is the best form of appreciation. Each participating student will get a certificate. The student who scores
  • 95% or above will get a Scholar Certificate along with a Gold Medal
  • 90% to 94.99% will get an Outstanding Performance Certificate along with a Silver Medal
  • 80% to 89.99% will get a Distinguished Performance Certificate along with a Bronze Medal
  • 60% to 79.99% will get a Participation Certificate
  • below 60% will get a digital Participation Certificate

ISTSE Syllabus

  • ISTSE Syllabus comprises topics from Mental & Logical Ability (9%) , Mathematics (24%), Science (24%), English (12%) and Scholars Section (15%). Additionally 16% of marks is reserved for Fair Play / Practice.
  • For School Based Question papers will be comprising of questions from Mental & Logical Ability (Class 1-4: 12% / Class 5-10: 9%), Mathematics (24%), Science (24%), English (Class 1-4: 20% / Class 6-10: 18%) and Scholars Section (Class 1-4: 20% / Class 6-10: 25%).
