NSEP Preparation Tips

1. Understand the Syllabus Well
Before starting your preparation, go through the complete NSEP syllabus and identify the topics that carry more weightage. Create a study plan based on this analysis. Make sure you don’t skip any topic, and revise the most important chapters before and after covering the less important ones.

2. Plan a Study Strategy
Once you categorize the chapters and understand the marking scheme, prepare a proper timetable. Ideally, you should begin your preparation at least a month before the exam and follow the syllabus step by step.

3. Use NCERT Books
NCERT textbooks are the best resource to start with. Once you finish the basics from NCERT, move on to reference books and tackle advanced-level topics.

4. Practice Previous Year Papers
IAPT provides previous year NSEP question papers along with answer keys. Download them from the official website and solve as many as possible. This will help you understand the exam pattern and improve speed and accuracy.

5. Refer to the Right Books
Along with NCERT, students can use CBSE Class 12 Physics reference books. These cover sub-topics in detail and give a clear idea of the type of questions asked in NSEP.
