How to Fill RRB Station Master Application Form 2026: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have opened the online application window for recruitment to the post of Station Master under CEN No. 08/2026. Eligible candidates can submit their online application forms through the official portal from 27.10.2026 until 25.11.2026 (23:59 Hrs).

How to Fill RRB Station Master Application Form 2026

Follow these sequential steps to complete your registration without making errors:

Step 1: Create an Account on the Official Portal

1. Visit the centralised railway application portal at rrbapply.gov.in.

2. Click on the "Apply" button and choose "Create an Account".

3. Select your citizenship and enter your personal details exactly as listed on your Matriculation certificate (Full Name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name).

4. Enter your active mobile number and email ID, then verify them using the sent OTPs.

5. Create a strong password and save your login credentials.

Step 2: Log In and Select Your Desired RRB Zone

1. Log in to the portal using your registered email/mobile number and password.

2. Select CEN 08/2026 from the dashboard.

3. Choose your preferred Railway Recruitment Board (e.g., RRB Allahabad, RRB Mumbai, RRB Kolkata, RRB Secunderabad, etc.).

Note: Once chosen, your selected RRB zone cannot be changed later.

Step 3: Enter Personal and Educational Qualifications

1. Fill in community details, nationality, religion, and visible identification marks.

2. Provide details regarding marital status and address for communication.

3. Enter your educational details, including your University Name, Year of Passing, and percentage or CGPA for your Graduation degree.

Step 4: Upload Required Documents

1. Upload your recent scanned passport photo matching the prescribed dimensions.

2. Upload the scanned signature file in running handwriting.

3. Upload community certificates if applying under reserved categories or claiming free rail travel privileges for examination.

Step 5: Choose Preferred Language and Exam City Preferences

1. Select your preferred medium for the Computer Based Test (CBT) from the available regional languages.

2. State your preferred exam city choices within the options offered by the board.

Step 6: Pay the Application Fee

Pay the required fee through integrated payment gateways using UPI, Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.

Application Fee Structure 

The Railway Recruitment Board charges an examination fee, a portion of which is refunded to candidates who appear for the First Stage CBT.

Important: Fee refunds are processed directly back to the bank account provided during registration after you attend Stage 1 of the CBT.

RRB Station Master Eligibility Criteria 2026

Applicants must satisfy the specified age limit, educational qualifications, and medical fitness standards as prescribed in CEN No. 08/2026.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 20 and 33 years of age as on 01.01.2027. Category-wise upper age relaxation is applicable as follows:

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years

• SC/ST: 5 Years

• Ex-Servicemen: 3 to 8 Years (depending on category, after deduction of service length)

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a Graduate Degree from a recognised University or its equivalent as on the closing date (25.11.2026). Candidates awaiting final examination results are not eligible to apply.

Medical Standards

Candidates must meet the A-2 medical standard, including distance vision of 6/9, 6/9 without glasses and near vision of Sn 0.6, 0.6 without glasses. Candidates who have undergone LASIK surgery or any refractive corrective surgery are not eligible.

Documents Required For RRB Station Master Application Form

Candidates must keep specific digital files ready in the required format and dimensions before completing the form.

• Photograph: Live photograph captured directly via webcam or mobile front camera against a pure plain white background during application submission. Pre-existing photo uploads are not permitted.

• Signature: Running handwriting in a black ink pen on white paper (capital/block letters are rejected). Format: JPG/JPEG; File size: 30 KB to 49 KB; Resolution: Minimum 100 DPI; Dimensions: Minimum 140 × 60 pixels (Box size: 50 mm × 20 mm).

• SC/ST Certificate: Required for availing a free rail travel pass. Format: PDF; File size: Less than 400 KB.

 RRB Station Master Application Form Correction Window and Modification Rules

If you spot an error after submitting your form, RRB provides a designated correction facility.

• Correction Window: Active from November 28, 2026 to December 7, 2026.

• Modification Fee: Non-refundable fee of ₹250 per modification.

• Uneditable Details: Account creation details (Mobile Number, Email ID, Name, Date of Birth) and selected RRB Zone cannot be modified.

• Category Upgradation: Changing your category from SC/ST to General/OBC requires paying the difference in exam fees (₹250 additional) along with the modification fee.
