Maximum Marks: 100

The exam is of a maximum of 100 marks. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark, contributing to the total score.

Duration: 90 minutes

Candidates will be given 90 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes) to complete the test. It is essential to manage time efficiently to attempt all questions.

Negative Marking: 1/3 mark 

There is a penalty for wrong answers. For every incorrect response, 0.33 marks (1/3) will be deducted from the total score, so candidates should attempt only the answers they are sure of.

The exam is 120 marks in total, having questions carrying 1 mark. Marks will be allotted only for correct answers, and accuracy plays a vital role due to negative marking.

Candidates will be given a total time of 90 minutes to complete the exam. 

Negative Marking: 1/3 

For each wrong answer, a 1/3rd mark will be deducted as a penalty. This means three incorrect answers will cancel out one correct answer, so it's advisable to avoid guessing.

Junior Clerk cum Typist Exam Pattern for Typing Test (TST)

The third stage of the Junior Clerk cum Typist Exam Pattern 2025 is the Typing Skill Test (TST). This stage is qualifying in nature, but failure to meet the criteria results in disqualification. The test is conducted on a computer, and candidates can choose to appear in either English or Hindi.

  • Language Selection: Candidates must choose either Hindi or English.
  • Test Mode: The typing test is conducted on a personal computer.
  • Qualification Criteria: Candidates must type at the required speed with a minimum accuracy rate. Those who fail to meet the typing speed criteria will be disqualified from further selection.
