Junior Account Assistant cum Typist Typing Skill Test (TST)

The Typing Skill Test is a qualifying stage aimed at evaluating the typing proficiency of candidates. For the posts of Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, a qualifying Typing Skill Test (TST) will be conducted. Marks from the TST will not be considered for merit ranking. Candidates up to eight times the number of vacancies, per community, will be called for this test. The typing speed requirement is 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi , performed on a personal computer without editing tools or spell check. For Hindi typing, Kruti Dev and Mangal fonts will be provided. Candidates with disabilities, such as blindness/low vision, cerebral palsy, or locomotor disability with a permanent disability of 40% or more, may be exempted from the TST. These candidates must upload a Typing Skill Test Exemption Certificate issued by a competent medical board in the prescribed format (Annexure V[E]) on the RRB's website before the test. Only candidates who qualify in the TST or are exempted PwBD candidates will be considered for the final merit list, which will be based on their performance in the 2nd Stage CBT.
