RRB Group D 2026 Revised Exam Date Out: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a notice informing the candidates regarding the RRB Group D 2026 Revised Exam Date. RRB Group D CBT exam will commence from August 3 to 6, August 9 to 14, August 17 to 21, and August 25, 2026. It will be a CBT-mode exam. Candidates who have applied for the Group D posts need to appear for the exam.

RRB Group D City Intimation Slip 2026 will be issued around 10 days before the exam. The authority has provided the exam city slip for August 9 exam on the portal.  Candidates can get the RRB Group D admit card around 4 days before the exam. The intimation slip will be provided before the admit card so that candidates can make the travel arrangements accordingly. Follow the official website for all updates.

RRB Group D 2026 Revised Exam Date has been provided for the candidates in the official notice. The exams will commence on August 3, 2026, through the CBT mode for the Group D recruitment drive. 

RRB Group D 2026 Revised Exam Dates

The Railway Recruitment Boards have changed the earlier tentative schedule and released the revised CBT dates for Level-1 recruitment.

The Computer Based Test will be conducted on the following dates:

• August 3 to August 6, 2026

• August 9 to August 14, 2026

• August 17 to August 21, 2026

• August 25, 2026

The examination will be held over 16 days in different shifts across the country.

Candidates should note that their individual exam date, shift, and exam city may be different. These details will be available through the Exam City Intimation Slip.

When Will the RRB Group D Exam City Slip Be Released?

The Railway Recruitment Boards have announced that the Exam City and Date Intimation Link becomes active 10 days before the candidate's final exam date. Candidates can get the exam city slip for August 9 exam on the official website.

RRB Group D 2026 Admit Card Release Date

The RRB Group D admit card, also called the E-Call Letter, will be available about 4 days before the candidate's exam date. Candidates should download the admit card as soon as it is released and carefully check all the details printed on it. The admit card is required to enter the examination centre.

Identity Documents Required on Exam Day

• Candidates must carry two original identity documents to the examination centre.
• One of these identity documents must be the same photo identity document that was entered during the online application process.
• If the required identity documents are not produced, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the Computer Based Test.
• Candidates should also make sure that all identity documents are original and valid.

Aadhaar Verification Important Update

• The Railway Recruitment Boards have given an important instruction regarding Aadhaar.
• Candidates should ensure that their Aadhaar remains unlocked in the UIDAI system before visiting the examination centre.
• This will help complete identity verification smoothly during registration at the exam centre.
• Even candidates who completed Aadhaar verification while submitting the application should keep their Aadhaar unlocked before the examination.

RRB Warns Candidates Against Fraud

The Railway Recruitment Boards have once again warned candidates to stay away from fraudsters and middlemen.

Some people may falsely promise railway jobs in exchange for money. Such promises are completely fake.

RRB has clearly stated that:

• Selection is based only on the Computer Based Test (CBT).

• Recruitment is done strictly based on merit.

• No person or agent can guarantee a railway job.
