Candidates were asked to decode words using the opposite alphabet rule, where every letter is replaced by its opposite alphabetical letter (A↔Z, B↔Y, C↔X, etc.).
For example:
R → I
A → Z
I → R
L → O
W → D
A → Z
Y → B
Questions based on this concept were straightforward for students familiar with opposite letter pairs.
Another Coding-Decoding question involved different alphabetical shifts.
Example:
NKHN → SPMH
Candidates had to identify the shifting pattern before decoding the complete word. Prashant Sir advised solving the entire code carefully instead of relying only on the first few letters, as the options were intentionally similar.
A question based on the word SCIENCE tested alphabetical transformations.
The rule was:
Replace every vowel with its previous alphabet.
Replace every consonant with its next alphabet.
After transformation, students had to identify the letter appearing most frequently. Such questions mainly tested observation skills and knowledge of alphabetical order.
Seating Arrangement remained one of the most important sections.
Questions included:
Linear Seating Arrangement
Circular Seating Arrangement
Candidates solved arrangements using fixed-position clues before applying relative position statements.
Important tips shared by Prashant Sir:
Start with definite clues.
Avoid solving the entire arrangement if the question can be answered earlier.
For centre-facing circular arrangements:
Right = Clockwise
Left = Anti-clockwise
The paper also included Box Stacking puzzles.
Students arranged boxes vertically using clues like:
Immediate above/below
Number of boxes between two boxes
Topmost and bottom-most positions
These questions were moderate in difficulty but became easy after placing the fixed positions first.
Blood Relation questions appeared in both direct and coded formats.
Topics included:
Mother-in-law
Brother-in-law
Parent-child relationships
Family tree construction
Prashant Sir recommended drawing a family tree instead of solving mentally, as it reduces mistakes and saves time.
A ranking question asked candidates to calculate the position of a person from the opposite end.
The standard formula used was:
Total Persons = Left Rank + Right Rank – 1
Candidates familiar with this formula could solve the question quickly.
Distance & Direction continued to be one of the most scoring chapters.

One question required finding the shortest distance after multiple turns using the Pythagorean Theorem.
Example:
Horizontal displacement = 5 km
Vertical displacement = 12 km
Minimum Distance = √(5² + 12²)

Prashant Sir also reminded students that "minimum distance" always refers to the straight-line (aerial) distance.
Candidates solved inequality questions by checking whether conclusions logically followed the given statements.
Important concept:
If the symbols face away from each other (for example, X < Y > Z), no definite relationship can be established between X and Z unless additional information is provided.
Two questions were based on Mathematical Operations.
Topics included:
Symbol replacement
Interchanging mathematical operators
BODMAS application
Students first replaced symbols with actual operators and then applied the correct order of operations to obtain the final answer.
The paper included standard Syllogism questions involving:
Positive statements
Negative statements
Logical conclusions
A key concept highlighted during the review was that combining a positive statement with a negative statement generally results in a valid negative conclusion rather than a positive one.
One Venn Diagram question asked candidates to identify individuals belonging to two groups while excluding a third group.
The question was simple and could be solved quickly by carefully identifying the overlapping regions.
According to Prashant Sir, candidates should focus on accuracy before attempting speed.
His key recommendations include:
Begin with easy and direct questions.
Solve Seating Arrangement and Puzzle questions only after identifying definite clues.
Skip lengthy questions initially and revisit them later.
Follow BODMAS strictly in Mathematical Operations.
Draw family trees for Blood Relation questions.
