The application fee is refunded to candidates once they appear in the first stage CBT. To receive the refund, candidates must confirm their bank account details. Candidates belonging to minority categories are entitled to a full refund of their examination fees, which is INR 250. Candidates belonging to the General, EWS, and OBC categories receive a partial refund of INR 400 after deducting bank charges. The examination authority activates a link to update bank account details for this purpose.
The RRB Group D fee refund is initiated after verifying the candidates' details against RRB records. Incorrect, incomplete, or late claims are rejected. No refund is provided if candidates fail to submit their bank account details. Only one refund per bank account is allowed. The link for submitting bank account details, along with an OTP for login, is shared via SMS and email to registered mobile numbers and email IDs. : All candidates who wish to receive their refund in the account from which they made the application fee payment must confirm their bank details.
Alternative Account Details
: Candidates who do not wish to receive the refund in the account through which they paid the examination fee should provide the details of the beneficiary account in which they wish to receive the refund. This includes the Beneficiary Name, Account Number, Name of Bank, and IFSC Code in the online application.
Payment via Post Office or SBI Challan
: Candidates who have deposited their fees through the Post Office or SBI Challan must provide the details of the beneficiary account in which they wish to receive the refund. This includes the Beneficiary Name, Account Number, Name of Bank, and IFSC Code in the online application. Failure to provide these details will result in not receiving the refund.
