RRB NTPC 12th Level Expected Cut off 2025: Students are eagerly awaiting the RRB NTPC Undergraduate Level CBT 2 results. This follows the recent declaration of positive results for the Graduate Level. The general sentiment suggests that cut-offs for the Undergraduate Level will be high. This is partly because Graduate Level candidates have also applied for Undergraduate posts, intensifying the competition.
For CBT 2, approximately 15 times the number of vacancies were shortlisted, which is about 3,445 × 15 candidates. A skill test (CBAT or Typing Test) will be conducted for certain posts. Shortlisting for the Computer-based Typing Skill Test will be up to 8 times the number of vacancies, translating to around 3,445 × 8 candidates.
Certain posts within the RRB NTPC 12th Level require specific skill tests. Typing test posts are expected to have a lower cut-off compared to non-typist posts like Trains Clerk. However, for Commercial cum Ticket Clerk and Trains Clerk, cut-offs will be very high due to fewer vacancies and many candidates.
These cut-offs were recorded out of a total of 100 marks:
CBT 1 cut‑offs for many zones generally lay roughly in these ranges out of 100 marks:
General: about 70–80
OBC/EWS: about 65–75
SC: about 55–65
ST: about 50–60
Based on the moderate difficulty level of the CBT 2 paper and the intense competition, the minimum expected cut-offs for the RRB NTPC 12th Level CBT 2 out of 120 marks are as follows:
| RRB NTPC 12th Level Expected Cut off 2025 | |
|---|---|
| Category | Expected Cut-off (Out of 120 Marks) |
| General | 90+ marks (approximately 75–80%) |
| EWS | 88+ marks |
| OBC | 88+ marks |
| SC | 85+ marks |
| ST | 80+ marks |
General category candidates scoring 90+ marks out of 120 in CBT 2 should immediately begin preparing for the Typing Test and CBAT. Candidates in the General category scoring below 90 marks should not harbor high hopes. This is because only up to 8 times the number of vacancies will be called for the skill tests. Candidates can check their performance using the answer keys and question papers that are available.
