Female candidates taking the RRB NTPC UG 2026 exam should observe the following guidelines to avoid any inconvenience at the examination centre.

  • Clothing: Avoid heavily embroidered outfits, metallic buttons, or elaborate designer wear. Simple, plain clothing is recommended.

  • Jewellery and Accessories: Strictly no earrings, chains, bangles, nose rings, bracelets, anklets, or mangalsutras. Exceptions are only for items explicitly mentioned in the admit card, which will involve additional scrutiny.

  • Footwear: Only flat slippers or sandals are allowed. Shoes, heels, or thick-soled footwear are not permitted.

  • Hair Accessories: Metallic clips or pins are prohibited. Use only plain rubber bands or simple hair ties.

  • Religious Clothing: Hijabs or veils are permitted but require prior declaration. Candidates wearing such attire should be prepared for extra security checks.

  • Henna Restriction: Do not apply henna (mehndi) on hands or feet, as it can hinder biometric data capture.

Male candidates for the RRB NTPC UG 2026 exam must keep their attire simple and as per the guidelines.:

  • Footwear: Slippers or sandals are allowed. Shoes, including sports shoes, are strictly not permitted.

Candidates should follow the RRB NTPC Exam Day Guidelines to appear for the exam. 

  • Printed Admit Card: Carry a clear, printed copy of your e-call letter.

  • Original Photo ID Proof: Bring a valid original ID (Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, or Aadhaar Card).

  • Passport Size Photograph: Carry at least one recent colour photograph matching your application.

  • Biometric Verification: Ensure your biometric data is updated and "unlocked" for the mandatory Aadhaar authentication.

  • Electronic Bans: Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, and earphones are strictly prohibited.

  • Restricted Accessories: Avoid wearing belts with large buckles, caps, or heavy jewellery like chains and bangles.

  • No Personal Stationery: Do not bring pens or paper; the RRB provides these inside the hall.

  • Prohibited Belongings: Bags, wallets, and eatables are not allowed inside the centre.

  • Early Reporting: Reach the centre at least 60 minutes before gate closure for document and biometric checks.

  • Strict Gate Timings: No entry is permitted under any circumstances once the gates are closed.

  • Rough Sheet Protocol: Write your name and roll number on rough sheets and return them to the invigilator before leaving.

  • Fingerprint Safety: Do not apply henna, ink, or tattoos on your fingers, as these interfere with biometric capture.

  • Strict Discipline: Any communication with other candidates or possession of study materials results in disqualification.

  • Exit Rules: You must remain in your seat for the full 90-minute duration until officially dismissed by the invigilator.
