The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced the application fee details for the RRB Section Controller recruitment under CEN No. 03/2026. Candidates must pay the prescribed examination fee while submitting the online application form.
The fee varies according to the candidate's category, with reserved categories eligible for a concessional fee. Candidates who appear in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) are also eligible for a partial or full refund, depending on their category and the conditions mentioned in the official notification.

The RRB Section Controller Application Fee is different for General and fee concession categories. The details are given below.

The above RRB section controller category wise application fee applies to all eligible candidates applying under CEN No. 03/2026. Candidates claiming a fee concession under the EBC category must possess valid supporting documents on or before the closing date of the application. Failure to produce the required documents during Document Verification may lead to rejection of the concession claim.
You can pay the application fee only through the online payment facility available on the official RRB application portal. Offline payment is not accepted.

The RRB Section Controller online application fee must be paid successfully before the deadline. Applicable bank or payment gateway charges, if any, will be borne by the candidate. Applications submitted without successful fee payment will be treated as incomplete and will not be considered for the recruitment process.
The RRB Section Controller registration fee should be paid only after verifying all the details entered in the application form, as corrections after final submission are limited and may require payment of a separate modification fee.
The RRB Section Controller Application Fee is refundable only for candidates who appear in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). The refund amount varies by category and is credited after deducting applicable bank charges.

The refund amount will be transferred only to the Aadhaar-linked bank account provided during the application process. Candidates should ensure that their Aadhaar is linked with an active bank account before submitting the application.
If no Aadhaar-seeded bank account is available, candidates will be redirected to the NPCI portal to complete the Aadhaar-bank account linking process. After successful linking, they can continue with the application process.
Candidates should keep the following points in mind regarding the RRB Section Controller Application Fee:
The examination fee can be paid only through the online application portal.
Applications submitted without successful fee payment will not be accepted.
A refund is available only to candidates who appear in the CBT.
Bank or payment gateway charges, wherever applicable, are borne by the candidate.
Candidates claiming the EBC fee concession must produce valid supporting documents during Document Verification.
A correction fee of ₹250 is charged for permitted modifications made during the application correction window. This amount is non-refundable.
The refund will be credited only to the Aadhaar-linked bank account provided during registration.
