RRB Technician Registration Process 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a notice regarding the RRB Technician Registration Process 2026. Candidates can visit the official RRB portal to complete the registration process through the online mode from June 30 to July 29, 2026. The minimum requirement to apply for the Technician position is a degree/diploma/ITI, depending on the Grade I and Grade III Technician profiles available for the recruitment.

RRB Technician recruitment includes Technician Grade I Signal and different categories of Technician Grade III posts. According to the official notification, there are 323 vacancies for Technician Grade I Signal and 6,234 vacancies for Technician Grade III posts.

Educational Qualification

• Technician Grade I: Degree/Diploma in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Instrumentation.

• Technician Grade III: Matric with ITI and Physics and Maths needed at the school level, depending on the trade available for the recruitment.

The age limits as of 1 July 2026 are:

• Technician Grade I Signal: 18 to 33 years

• Technician Grade III: 18 to 30 years

• A citizen of Nepal or Bhutan, or

• A person of Indian origin from specified countries who intends to settle permanently in India.

RRB Technician Application Fee 2026

RRB Technician Application Fee 2026 need to be paid on submitting the application form. 

• UR Category: ₹500. Out of this amount, ₹400 will be refunded after appearing in the Computer-Based Test.

• SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Minority, and Economically Backward Class:  ₹250. Full amount will bre refunded.
