Q9. If the cost of 12 bananas is Rs 24, then the cost of 8 bananas will be

Ans. Correct answer is 4

Given,

cost of 12 bananas = Rs 24

cost of 1 banana = Rs 24/12 = 2

Cost of 8 bananas = Rs 2 x 8 = Rs 16

Q10. If 65% of students in class VII have a bicycle, then the percentage of the students who do not have bicycles will be

  1. 25%
  2. 35%
  3. 45%
  4. 56%

Ans. Correct answer is 2

Suppose there are 100 students in class VII, 65 out of them have bicycles and the percentage of the students do not have bicycles

= (100 - 65)% = 35%
