Food Deficiency: A person has a food insufficiency when their diet is inadequately nutrient-dense. We need food to survive. Our diet is made up of the foods we consume. The food and the human diet are divided into numerous nutritional classes. These categories include water, minerals, proteins, lipids, and carbs. Our development and overall health depend on a balanced diet that includes all these elements in adequate amounts.
