CISCE is anticipated to maintain its approach of not formally releasing an official toppers' or merit list for the ICSE examinations. This policy aims to alleviate academic pressure on students. The last instance of an official merit list was in 2023.
Instead of a ranked toppers list, the board might acknowledge high-achieving students through subject-specific merit certificates.
With the discontinuation of an official ICSE Class 10th Toppers List 2026, the focus shifts from competitive rankings to individual student performance. The emphasis is now on personal academic growth, subject strengths, and planning future educational paths. Result day now serves as a personal achievement benchmark rather than a national competition.
Students can check their ICSE Class 10 results directly via the official CISCE website or results portal. To access the marks, students must provide the following details:
Unique ID
Index Number
CAPTCHA code
Upon successful submission, the digital marksheet will be displayed. Students have the option to download or print this document for their records.
To manage high traffic and ensure seamless access, CISCE has also made the results available on the DigiLocker platform. Students can retrieve their results by entering:
Index Number
Unique ID
Date of Birth
This provides a reliable alternative for result access during peak times.
Students who wish to have their answer sheets re-examined can apply for a recheck. The application window for rechecks is scheduled from May 1 to May 4, 2026. A fee of Rs 1,000 per subject applies. Recheck results are expected in early June.
For those still not satisfied after a recheck, the re-evaluation process opens one day after the recheck results are announced and remains open for three days. The fee for re-evaluation is Rs 1,500 per paper.
