Chief Ministers of Arunachal Pradesh : Prem Khandu Thungan served as the first Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh from August 13, 1975, to September 18, 1979. His leadership marked the early days of the state's governance, setting the foundation for its development path. Transitioning to contemporary leadership, Pema Khandu assumed office as Chief Minister on May 29, 2019, bringing fresh vision and direction to Arunachal Pradesh. Alongside him, Chowna Mein took on the role of Deputy Chief Minister, contributing to the state's administration.
