Report to the exam centre at least 45 minutes before the scheduled reporting time. Candidates who have not completed Aadhaar-based authentication must reach the centre at least two hours in advance.
Carry the admit card, two recent passport-size colour photographs, and a valid photo ID such as a Voter ID, Driving Licence, PAN Card, or Passport.
Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, wireless gadgets, spy cameras, and similar items are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. Possession of such items will lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.
Use of unfair means, including copying or carrying written material, is strictly forbidden.
Leaving the examination hall without permission is not allowed.
According to the latest exam pattern, the Delhi Police Constable examination is conducted online. The paper consists of 100 objective-type questions carrying a total of 100 marks. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes, and a penalty of 0.25 marks is applied for each incorrect answer. The subject-wise distribution is as follows:
Part A: General Knowledge / Current Affairs – 50 questions, 50 marks
Part B: Reasoning – 25 questions, 25 marks
Part C: Numerical Ability – 15 questions, 15 marks
Part D: Computer Fundamentals, MS Excel, MS Word, Communication, Internet, WWW, and Web Browsers – 10 questions, 10 marks
