Districts of Uttarakhand: Uttarakhand has 13 districts, and they are split into two parts called Garhwal and Kumaon. Garhwal has 7 districts, and Kumaon has 6, according to 2025. In Uttarakhand, there's someone called the District Magistrate who takes care of the law and order in each district.

Another person, known as the Deputy Conservator of Forests from the Indian Forest Service, is in charge of looking after the forests. And there's a job called Superintendent of Police, whose responsibility is to manage the police force in the state. They all work together to make sure things run smoothly in Uttarakhand.

Uttarakhand comprises a total of 13 districts, organized under the administrative divisions of Kumaon and Garhwal.
