DSSSB Eligibility Criteria 2026 is related to nationality, age, and educational qualifications. These requirements ensure that only qualified individuals apply for the respective roles.
Educational Requirements
Educational qualifications are post-specific for the candidates.

Junior Scientific Assistant: Master’s degree in a relevant subject/trade from a recognized university.

Technical Assistant (Hindi): Master’s degree in Hindi with English, or vice versa, as a subject or medium at the degree level.

Assistant Archivist Grade-I: Master’s Degree in History with a paper in Modern Indian History and a Diploma in Archives and Record Management.

I.T. Assistant, Grade – A: 12th Standard pass with typing speed of 8000 key depressions per hour (26.67 wpm) and an Aptitude Test.

Fitter Grade – II: ITI certificate in the Plumber trade with one year of practical experience in water distribution networks.

Lift Operator: Matriculation/Higher Secondary and ITI certificate in Electrician/Wireman trade.

Asstt. Operator cum Mechanic: Matriculation/Higher Secondary with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning.

Sub Station Apprentice: 10th pass.

Data Processing Assistant Grade ‘A’: Degree or Diploma in Computer Engineering (three years) with 1 year of experience in electronic data processing.
