India Post GDS Recruitment Zone Wise Vacancy 2026: The Department of Posts has released the India Post GDS Recruitment 2026 vacancy details under the GDS Online Engagement Schedule-II, July 2026. A total of 23,757 Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) vacancies have been announced across various postal circles. The recruitment covers Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak posts.

As per the released vacancy table, the North Eastern Circle has the highest combined number of vacancies at 2,614 posts, followed by Maharashtra Circle with 2,431 vacancies and Tamilnadu Circle with 2,118 vacancies. Uttar Pradesh has 1,691 posts, while West Bengal has 1,762 posts.
