The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, has officially published the India Post GDS Result 2026 1st Merit List OUT notification across all 23 postal circles. Candidates who submitted online applications for 23,757 vacancies—including Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), and Dak Sevak—can now check their selection status directly through the official GDS Online Engagement portal.
Because selection is based purely on Class 10th (Secondary School) marks with no written examination or interview, shortlisting relies entirely on system-generated merit. Candidates whose names appear in the first selection list must proceed to the designated Divisional Office for mandatory physical Document Verification (DV).
