
SSC MTS 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the SSC MTS 2026 Computer-Based Examination (CBE) on multiple dates in February 2026 across various exam centres in India. The exam will be held in four shifts daily to accommodate a large number of candidates. To ensure a smooth and fair examination process, SSC has issued detailed exam day guidelines related to reporting time, documents to carry, permitted and prohibited items, and conduct inside the exam hall. Candidates are advised to carefully read and follow all instructions mentioned on their admit card to avoid any last-minute issues on the exam day.

The SSC MTS 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted over several days in February 2026. The exam date and shift timing allotted to each candidate may vary and will be clearly mentioned on the admit card. Candidates must verify their exact exam date, reporting time, and shift before appearing for the examination.
As per the official schedule, the examination will be held on 04, 05, 06, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18, and 19 February 2026. Candidates should note that the exact SSC MTS Exam Date and shift allotted to them may vary and will be mentioned clearly on the SSC MTS Admit Card 2026. It is advised to check the admit card carefully and plan travel to the exam centre accordingly.
Candidates appearing for SSC MTS 2026 must strictly follow the exam day instructions issued by the Commission. Failure to comply with these guidelines may lead to disqualification.
Carry a printed copy of the SSC MTS Admit Card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre
Report to the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card
Late entry into the examination centre will not be permitted under any circumstances
Complete biometric verification and attendance formalities as instructed by exam officials
Sit only at the workstation allotted to you and do not change your seat without permission
Follow all instructions given by the invigilator during the examination
Do not communicate with other candidates or indulge in any unfair practices
Candidates are not allowed to leave the exam hall before the exam concludes unless permitted
