The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the SSC MTS Havaldar Result 2026 along with the category-wise cut-off marks on 3 August 2026. Along with the result, SSC has also published the detailed examination statistics, giving candidates a clear picture of the competition this year.

According to the official data, 36,19,834 candidates applied for the SSC Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025. Out of them, 8,04,633 candidates actually appeared for the Computer-Based Examination conducted between 4 February and 20 February 2026.

After evaluating the performance and applying score normalization, 8071 candidates have been shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for the Havaldar post.

The shortlisted candidates will now move to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST), which are mandatory for final selection to the Havaldar post.

The SSC MTS Havaldar Result 2026 has been published in PDF format on the official SSC website. The result contains the roll numbers of candidates shortlisted for the next stage.

Candidates should note that the present result is only for the Havaldar PET/PST stage. The final selection for both MTS and Havaldar will be announced after completion of the physical tests.

SSC has released the official category-wise statistics of candidates shortlisted for PET/PST.

*The UR category includes candidates from reserved categories who qualified at the unreserved cut-off.

Additional Details

• UR includes 300 EWS, 105 SC, 25 ST, and 1,574 OBC candidates.

• ESM includes 12 EWS, 19 SC, 1 ST, 294 OBC, and 367 UR candidates.

• OH includes 11 EWS, 13 SC, 2 ST, 34 OBC, and 31 UR candidates.

• HH includes 9 EWS, 5 SC, 2 ST, 29 OBC, and 32 UR candidates.

• Other PwBD includes 6 EWS, 9 SC, 3 ST, 37 OBC, and 29 UR candidates.

Minimum Qualifying Marks in SSC MTS Havaldar Exam 2026

Candidates were required to secure the minimum qualifying marks in both Session I and Session II of the Computer-Based Examination.

Candidates failing to achieve these minimum qualifying marks were not considered for further evaluation.

How Were Candidates Shortlisted?

SSC shortlisted candidates based on the following criteria:

• Performance in Session II of the Computer-Based Examination.

• Score normalization across multiple shifts.

• Post and CCA preferences submitted during the application process.

• Shortlisting ratio of approximately 1:7 (vacancies to candidates) for PET/PST.

Only candidates who qualified Session I were eligible for evaluation of Session II.

What Happens After SSC MTS Havaldar Result 2026?

Candidates shortlisted in the result must now appear for:

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Physical Standard Test (PST)

Candidates who qualify the PET/PST will proceed to the final merit stage.

Those who fail PET/PST will not be considered for the Havaldar post. However, if they qualify for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) based on merit, their candidature for the MTS post will remain valid.
