The SSC MTS Computer-Based Examination (CBE) is conducted across multiple days to accommodate the large number of applicants. The examination follows a structured exam schedule with four daily shifts to ensure smooth execution and fair opportunities for all candidates. The four exact shifts are 9:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 6:00 PM, each with a specific exam time duration.
The SSC typically releases the exam city and exact shift details on the candidate's SSC MTS Admit Card 2026. This approach helps in managing logistics for a nationwide examination and allows for the implementation of a normalization process to account for variations in difficulty levels across different shifts. Candidates should refer to their admit card for precise reporting time and exam time specifics.
