What After SSC GD Physical Result 2025: The Staff Selection Commission has officially published the SSC GD physical result on 13 October 2025 at ssc.gov.in. This SSC GD result PDF includes the names and roll numbers of the 1,26,736 candidates who cleared the physical rounds (PST + PET) in 2025.  

The official result PDF also states the cut-off marks and which candidates will move forward to the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Document Verification (DV). So, once your roll number appears in that physical result list, you are now eligible for the next stages, but you must still pass those stages to get the final selection.

Here is a simple breakdown of the stages that come after the SSC GD physical result, what you must do, and how to prepare.

Stage 1: Document Verification (DV)

• After physical result, SSC or the concerned CAPF (Central Armed Police Force) will release DV dates and call letters.

• You must go to the assigned venue with original documents and photocopies.

• Documents include:
   • Educational proof (10th class certificate, marksheet)
   • Birth certificate or age proof
   • Identity proofs (Aadhaar, voter ID, etc.)
   • Caste / category certificate if you claimed reservation
   • Any other certificates claimed (sports, NCC, etc.)

If any document is missing or incorrect, you may be disqualified even after physical result.

Stage 2: Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

• After DV, the next step is medical examination. This is often called DME or Medical Test.

• The medical board checks your health, vision, hearing, heart, lungs, and general body fitness.

• Some medical norms are strictly defined (for example vision limits, or certain health conditions may disqualify).

• Passing medical test is necessary for final appointment.

Stage 3: Final Merit and Appointment

• Once medical is cleared, SSC or the force will prepare the final merit list. This list includes candidates who passed all prior stages: written exam, physical test, DV, medical.

• The final list will also mention category-wise allocations (General, OBC, SC, ST).

• Selected candidates receive appointment letters (joining orders) for training or deployment.
