The JKBOSE Class 12 Geography Syllabus 2025 helps students understand the high weightage units like Human Activities (12 marks), Transport, Communication and Trade (12 marks), and Resources and Development (10 marks). This helps them decide how much time to give to each unit.
It is important to understand the geographical aspects rather than simply memorizing them. Students must understand concepts like patterns of settlement, trade flows, resource distribution, etc.
The preparation for map work must be prioritized as it carries 5v marks which are easy to score with enough practice.
Students must practice time management by dividing their time wisely. They can write short answers for 3–5 mark questions, detailed answers for 10–12 mark ones, and keep the last 15 minutes for map work and revision.
Individual attention to India and World Geography must be given as Unit I to V relates to the world and the Units VI–XI focus on India. You must treat them distinctly in notes and practice.
