The JKBOSE Class 12 Geography Syllabus 2025 Marking scheme gives a clear idea about the high weightage units and the key topics students must cover in order to score well. The External Assessment carries 20 marks which are further divided into processing data (15 marks) and practical record book and Viva Voce (5 marks).
Unit I: Processing of Data and Thematic Mapping
Sources of data. Tabulating and processing of data; calculation of averages, measures of central tendency, deviation and rank correlation. Representation of data construction of diagrams: bars, circles and flow chart; thematic maps; construction of dot; choropleth and isopleth maps.
